Website update
« on: March 28, 2010, 12:05:12 AM »
SMF has been upgraded to the latest new version.
Also some cosmetical changes with the site theme - ive been working with this whole week and it's still far from finished. Also made it a bit wider, for better view in widescreens... Anyway, Enjoy :)

Thanks Pepe.
Added another "update" today. If the site visitor uses IE, he gets this:

The link leads them to Opera homepage.  ;D

Nice, what I have setup on my site too, only with IE6 or under.  It's a pain when they say something it broken when they are using a broken browser.  IE9 looks promising, finally they are listing to the community and are delivering what's wanted.

Indeed. It seems like all other browsers accept the modern web standards, while IE doesn't and needs "ie hacks" and more extra work to make webpages look more normal for its users. So far haven't seen much evolving either - it's still slow and seems to have dropped some parts of HTML standards (for example i found marquee not working correctly anymore).

Not to mention low security (compared to other common browsers at Secunia).  ;)
But yeah lets see what IE9 comes up with. Although wiki says it's going to be for Vista & 7.

It will be, tried out the preview of IE9 when it came out, 10x better then 8.  They are still working on it, can't wait for the beta to see how it will work.
